  • Presentation Description:
    • The topic for this presentation is the 100 Year Pavement Foundation. The Transportation Research Board (TRB) recognizes the need to shift toward long-term, resilient roadway design as outlined it its Circular E-C296. TRB identifies moisture management as a critical factor in preventing pavement failure. This presentation will highlight the benefits of incorporating moisture-management geosynthetics that actively wick water away from the pavement structure. By addressing a primary cause of failure, this technology enables longer-lasting, low-maintenance, and cost-effective foundations designed to perform for a century.
